Cancellation Policy

At Somasundaram Eye Hospital, we value your time and strive to provide the best services to our patients. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which appointments or procedures may be cancelled.

Appointment Cancellations

• Patients are requested to inform us at least 24 hours in advance if they wish to cancel or reschedule their appointment.
• Appointments cancelled within less than 24 hours may not be eligible for rescheduling on the same day and will depend on doctor availability.

Surgery / Procedure Cancellations

• If you need to cancel a scheduled surgery or procedure, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
• Surgeries cancelled within 24–48 hours may be rescheduled once, subject to slot availability.
• Surgeries cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may result in forfeiture of booking/advance fees.

Emergency Situations

• We understand that emergencies can occur. In such cases, cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of hospital management.
