Refund Policy

At Somasundaram Eye Hospital, we strive to provide the best care and services to our patients. We understand that sometimes circumstances may arise where refunds are requested. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which refunds may be issued.

Consultation Fees

• Consultation fees once paid are non-refundable.
• If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, you may reschedule it within 7 days, subject to doctor availability.

Surgery / Procedure Fees

• If a surgery or procedure is cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled time, 80% of the amount paid will be refunded.
• If cancelled within 24–48 hours, 50% of the amount will be refunded.
• If cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the amount will not be refunded, but you may reschedule once without additional charges.

Advance Payments

• Any advance paid for booking surgeries, procedures, or services is adjustable against future services if not availed on the scheduled date.
• Refunds of advance payments will be considered only in genuine cases, subject to hospital management approval.

Refund Method

• Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment (card, UPI, bank transfer, etc.) within 7–10 working days.
