Payment Flow

At Somasundaram Eye Hospital, Karur, we ensure a secure and transparent payment process for our patients. Below is the step-by-step flow of how payments are handled:

1. Appointment Booking

  • Patients can book an appointment online through our official website www.somasundarameyehospital.com or by calling our reception.
  • At the time of booking, patients may be asked to make a token advance payment (if applicable).

2. Consultation & Services

  • After booking, patients visit the hospital for consultation with our eye specialists.
  • Based on diagnosis, treatment or surgery options will be suggested.
  • An estimate of charges will be provided before proceeding further.

3. Advance Payment

  • For surgical procedures or specialized treatments (like LASIK, cataract surgery, etc.), patients are required to make an advance payment to confirm the slot.
  • Advance payment can be made through:
    • Cash at reception
    • Credit/Debit Card (POS)
    • UPI / Net Banking / Online Transfer

4. Final Billing & Settlement

  • After completion of the consultation/treatment/surgery, the final bill will be generated.
  • Patients can make the final settlement using any of the following modes:
    • Cash
    • Credit/Debit Card
    • UPI / QR Code Payment
    • Bank Transfer

5. Receipts & Confirmation

  • A printed tax invoice/receipt will be issued for every payment.
  • Digital copies can also be requested via email or WhatsApp.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

  • If a patient cancels a surgery/treatment after advance payment, refund eligibility will be based on hospital policy.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days via the same mode of payment.
